October - Day 1

Is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. 

CarlyMarie with project heal has a project that is called Capture Your Grief, where each day you post a photograph with somewhat of a story for a description and it is meant to help you heal during this month.  

Here is my day 1 entry: 

Day 1: Sunrise - Hyden, Ky - 10/1/15 - there was no sunrise today. As you can see, it has been raining non stop for days now with no end until Sunday in sight. I remember early in my grief, it felt like there would be no sunrise and the rain would never stop. The rain eventually stopped. And the sun did rise. And a rainbow even showed its face. Grief is a cruel monster. I still sometimes feel like I'll never see the sun again. The rain still gets me. I struggle on the daily but that's what makes it a journey. It's not easy. It's full of potholes. It's full of learning. Healing. Praying. Hoping. Wondering. #whathealsyou #carlymarieprojectheal #captureyourgrief
