Day 28 - Reach Out - {Project Capture Your Grief} 

Coincidentally enough, today's topic is "reach out". Reaching out has been one of the few things that has really helped to heal me in this journey. Today I got the opportunity to speak on Coach's Corner on 97.9 WKIC about the Angel Walk, stillbirth, PAIL, the cuddle cot, NILMDTS and other relative topics. I didn't plan on speaking but for a minute but I stayed the entire time. I got to tell our Emma's story on the radio to the masses. Got to let others know they're not alone. The Angel walk in itself is a huge way to reach out for me, as our community doesn't have anything out there for pregnancy and infant loss. So many people are unaware. I hope the walk, the talk show, and the t shirts will help to raise awareness in Emma's name. And then of course the first placement of a cuddle cot will be a huge outreach accomplishment. I'm so glad the radio broadcast and "reach out" for this project fell on the same day. Yet another way I know Emma is still around.
