Day 25 - Earth Remembrance - {Project Capture Your Grief}
This day of the project is supposed to be about something you've planted in honor of your child. I and my parents have planted several ground cover plants and flowers here as seen in the picture in Emma's resting place. I love to make it look lovely and change it with the seasons. I love designing flower arrangements that I think would suit her. I also, with every plant I plant at home around my house, have her in mind. In my front flower bed, besides the rose bush that was planted before her arrival, I have purple yellow purple yellow daisies and coneflowers planted in that order through the bed and they come back every year. I have been planting a morning glory at the fence by the gate for a few years and now it reminds me of her. The zinnias that climb to a height of taller than me remind me of her and have their spot in the front flower bed. The ground covers with petite lavender flowers that covers the flower bed on the end of the house. My hanging baskets since Emma have been purchased and arranged with her in mind. I haven't planted a tree yet though. But I'm always looking to enrich the soil with pieces of my baby girls memory. #projectheal #captureyourgrief
