a revolution
here we are again...approximately 8 months since I last blogged. I'm making a PRE-new years resolution now. since I will be spending my first new years eve/crossover to new years away from my baby boy, and my hubby...I haven't spent a new years without tommy since we spent our first together in 2007, and haven't spent one without Shade nearby since 2011, the year he was born. well, technically 2010, when he was in my belly for new years and I spent it at Tash's house with Tommy and Natalie by my side on the couch watching Chris and Scott ski on the xbox, lol. oh now I get off on the wrong subject. anyways, my resolution: blog more. I find that in the most recent years, where I have neglected blogging, I deal with things with much less patience and stride. being a new parent, a new nurse, and still being in school and having way too much on my plate surely contributes to this, but even when I was going off the deep end, if I could drop some of my stress off here on the world wide web, get those words out into cyber space, it somehow eased my anger, fear, worries, stress, etc. only those who have blogged back in the livejournal days, when we actually had LJ friends who would actually read our posts and comment...will understand how blogging is therapeutic. you may not wanna read what I have to say, but I do...the me in 3 years wants to. the me in 10 years wants to. I can't count the times I've started at the very beginning in 2003 where I began my LJ experience, all the way up to 2007, where I pretty much stopped blogging, and read and read and read until hours had passed and my eyes were sore... but gaining just a temporary new knowledge about myself, and a boost of, idk...I was somewhat renewed after reading it. so my goal is to re-create this. I have more now to blog about, more important things, like Shade and the everyday antics he provides me with. I want to remember these things forever. I can't rely on the fickle mind of a night-shift nurse who is constantly pushing new information into her brain with work and school and being up working all night, and a housewife who barely remembers to put the wet laundry from the washer to the dryer, and a photographer who is constantly trying to find new ways to decrease workload because she can't spend enough time with her family. and the many other roles I play during the night and day.
so basically, I'm restarting, attempting to restart a revolution. blogging has got to come back. idc about grammatical errors, idc about web-lingo or mumbo jumbo, or abbreviations or whatnot, I just want to read your alls stuff. I want you to read mine. I want people I give a flying crap about to know what other people go through, what other people are really willing to share on the web. by no means am I trying to flaunt what I have or what I get to do, or whatever. that's definitely not what this is about. some people take blogging the wrong way. sure, I might express my opinions, and sure I might tell about my newest haul from GAP or Old Navy or American Eagle, I may even talk about Christmas presents, or products I've bought that I recommend or hate. but you can feel free to scroll past anything you find uninteresting. I, however, find myself reading the most everyday stuff from people's lives and being enthralled.
my next blog update will be just that;; an update to things that have changed since my last entry before this one. just to get myself up to date.
good day!
