so here I am at work again...
but, only for 6 more hours, and then I'm off two nights. then I'm back for 5 nights, maybe 6. which is lame. stupid holidays making the schedules all stupid, haha.
I thought I would share this tidbit of info ...

the Clarins was a free gift from Sephora from my points I've accumulated. the Vidal Sassoon hair spray was just something I bought to switch it up a bit. the Clarins is in the garbage. The hairspray is being returned tomorrow.
I slept all of like 3-4 hours yesterday morning after work until my BOSS decided to call me at like 11:15am and leave a voicemail, which didn't wake me up, but when I woke up at 1:30 and decided to glance at my phone, I saw the missed call/voicemail. and she made some big rigamaroar about something that was NOTHING & she made it sound like I had freaking killed someone, and it was about something that didn't even concern me. so needless to say, I didn't get enough sleep. my two nights off are going to be so full of stuff like two thanksgiving dinners and putting the tree up this evening for instance, that I may not even get any time to do anything. tommy is off thanksgiving day, and Friday and the weekend, but I am only off tonight and tomorrow night. So of course, when he gets a long weekend now & again, its never on my weekends off. GRRR. but we do have the KPP Christmas party to look forward to next Thursday. I hope we have luck in Lexington finding something to wear :| I hate ordering stuff like that and I hate last minute shopping.
speaking of last minute shopping... I got a great head start on Christmas shopping this year and ended up not getting anything since then, now I have paula, Robert, jessi, Natalie, Maggie, part of tommy's, more shade gifts, brady, sammie, breanna, chris, Kenny, angie, breanna, and my grandparents to buy for. I am hoping I can knock like 50% of this crap out on cyber Monday. we'll see though. I want presents under the tree!
today shade just randomly says "Thank you for my butt!" while Tommy was changing his diaper. lol. he's a nut :P he was a live wire this evening. so sweet and cuddly, but then went wild! we start his amoxicillin tomorrow morning, because his little coughing and snotty nose won't go away its been here too long. breathing treatments have been helping him but I don't want him to get bronchitis and that's what it sounds like, so I had tommy get a script for amox for him for 10 days. its good to have people you know who can write scripts for things we need. lol.
lots to do this morning after work...walmart for some cooking stuff for the dishes I am going to make for both thanksgiving dinners, some necessities for the usual weekly/bi-weekly home shopping trip, probably big lots for a new Christmas tree and décor, ad east to drop off a disc for the nursing program composite, also need to place an order for Christmas cards and prints for my family photo frame from our new family pics we had done in the fall. I also may end up doing a nice framed photo and make a collage of Shade for Nanny, Popaw/Momaw, Mom/Dad and Maggie. It would be time consuming but that would be one good small present for Maggie... and the single presents for the rest. mom doesn't want anything and dad throws a fit whenever we try to buy for him. I feel selfish and self-absorbed giving pics of my little family or Shade as a GIFT to grandparents, but they really seem to enjoy it. plus a good frame is always a nice addition to a table or shelf... idk though. I am a horrible gift giver. idk if i'll get any sleep this morning or not. I really need to, but if I do it won't be a ton.
